Dr. Michael Kreutzer

Michael Kreutzer is COO of the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity ATHENE. He is responsible for internationalization and strategic industry relations at the Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT.

He received his diploma in computer science from Saarland University, and in 2006 he received his PhD from Albert-Ludwigs-University Freiburg with "Scalable and Robust Service Discovery in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks". From 2008 to 2015 he was managing director of the Darmstadt center CASED (Center for Advanced Security Research Darmstadt), from 2011 to 2015 he was research coordinator of the BMBF competence center European Center for Security and Privacy by Design (EC SPRIDE).

Since the end of 2015, Michael Kreutzer has been a researcher at Fraunhofer SIT.

Michael Kreutzer specialises in CRA, cybersecurity governance, cryptoagility, cybersecurity management, and zero trust architectures. He is involved in advising start-ups on the technical market knowledge of cyber security.
